Lucy’s Legacy by, Tia Day.

Lucy’s Legacy by, Tia Day.

I was kindly sent a copy of this book by the author, Tia Day in exchange for an honest review.

I was very excited to start this book after reading the blurb on the back, it seemed like it would be right up my street, and oh boy, was I right! I was captivated by this book instantly.

The emotions I felt whilst reading this book were unreal, I truly felt like I was there alongside Caitlin and her friends.

If I had read this book without knowing who the author was, I would have been confident to say that it was the work of my favourite author, Karen Rose.

I found it incredibly hard to put down because I needed to know what was going to happen next. The anticipation was building right from the very start, and just when I thought I had figured it out, Tia brought to light another piece of evidence that had me questioning my own assumptions of who the killer actually was.

Alongside the storyline of two vigilante friends trying to catch a murderer, there is also a love story unravelling that made me feel warm inside. Although Caitlin is a very troubled girl, she finally lets her guard down and experiences love so raw and passionate, it gives a glimmer of hope for the happily-ever-after she desperately wants and deserves.

You can tell a lot of research has gone into this book as Tia has highlighted perfectly the effects of post-traumatic amnesia.

I was on a rollercoaster of emotions from start to finish with this book, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who enjoys psychological and romance novels. It has aspects that I feel would appeal to almost all readers.

I look forward to reading more books by this author and I’m excited to see if there will be a sequel to the incredible, Lucy’s Legacy, in the future.
